Hej there – nice to have you around! I’m Depone, a father of four, web craftsperson, crowdfunding professional, and antifascist feminist who believes in taking care – of people, projects, and the world around us.

When I’m not running, cycling, or overthinking (a hobby in itself), you’ll find me tending to a dough, lost in music, or debugging something – whether it’s code or my latest recipe – with a cup of delicious coffee in hand.

I started blogging in 2004, turned my passion for the web into a career in 2008, and have spent the years since weaving together tech, community, and creativity – from writing two books and co-running a music venue to helping shape crowdfunding culture at wemakeit. Good work, like a good meal or a great song, should nourish, connect, and leave things better than you found them.
